Rob Danner, designer and owner, started RD Design Services a few years back after working for a local home builder in Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to this, Rob had an extensive background in engineering and project management in the high-tech industry, where he developed numerous skills that are crucial to being a competent designer.

Currently located in the Town of Fountain Hills, Arizona, our primary geographic focus has been from Phoenix to the East Valley. However, we're willing to entertain opportunities virtually anywhere in Arizona!

We have extensive experience in working on remodels and additions, which are often more complex than starting from scratch with a new design. In addition to this, we have experience in designing both production homes for builders, as well as custom homes for private owners.

Choosing a designer or firm to turn your dreams into reality should not be taken lightly. There are numerous designers and architects available to you, and they’re all different in their approach to design, their beliefs, principles, as well as style preferences.

We don’t believe there’s a “one size fits all” firm out there. Aside from a firms capability, there’s chemistry. No matter how good or experienced a designer or firm may be, if the chemistry isn’t right between you and the designer or their team, the experience will very likely be uncomfortable, and the results likely unacceptable.

It’s not our place to force a particular style, or design direction, but rather listen to our client’s needs and desires. These two components, along with other external influences such as site conditions, restrictions, climate, and budget, will help to define the direction, as well as shape the design, and a resulting style will begin to emerge.

Throughout the design process, we will always pursue and encourage the minimizing of waste and limiting use of non-renewable resources, as well as maximizing the use of renewable resources and recycled materials.

Environmental responsibility is a mind-set... a way of thinking, and in many ways a lifestyle with us. However, everyone has differing levels of motivation with respect to designing and building green, and every project has its own unique set of requirements. Regardless, we will always make an effort to save the client money by reducing waste, and minimizing natural resource consumption through sensible design practices.
